Petar Simonoski is an MA student in History at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. His academic interests include medieval history, Byzantine history, and the medieval history of Ohrid. He completed his BA in History in 2025, with a thesis on the subjugation of Samuel’s State. He has participated in academic conferences and summer schools in Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, as well as international cultural heritage projects. Simonoski is President of the History Students’ Club “Ilinden” (ISHA Skopje), Vice President of ISHA International, and has worked as a history teacher in Ohrid since 2025.
