Magda Fytili is a Ramón y Cajal postdoctoral researcher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and adjunct faculty at the Hellenic Open University. She holds a PhD in Political Science and Sociology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her research focuses on political violence, memory politics, transitional justice, civil conflict, women’s resistance, and postwar transitions in Southern Europe, particularly Greece and Spain. She participates in projects including ERC MUTE, CERV WIRE, and Horizon 2020 SO-CLOSE, and has led the TRANSMEAS and PORE projects, publishing on the memory of the Greek Civil War.
