Ayşe Alan completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of History at Middle East Technical University and earned her master’s degree at the Institute of Educational Sciences at Bilkent University. She has held various positions in private schools, including history teacher, department head, and assistant principal.

She has contributed to numerous projects on critical thinking, discrimination, inclusive education, gender, and racism. In these fields of expertise, she provides training and consultancy for both children and adults. She also writes on education and education policies for various newspapers and online platforms, and she prepares and hosts the radio program Okul Zili (School Bell) on Açık Radyo.
