Vassilis Tsafos, Ph.D., is a Professor of Pedagogical Theory and Curriculum Studies in the Early Childhood Education Department, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and Dean of the School of Educatioanl Studies. He has studied at Athens University, in Paris (University of Paris VIII & University of Paris V – René Descartes). He has worked as a teacher in Secondary Schools in Greece, as a Deputy Councillor of the Pedagogical Institute of Greece. His research and writing is particularly informed by curriculum studies, methods of teaching, qualitative education research (action research, narrative research), teacher development and teacher education.
