Vassiliki Sakka studied History and Archaeology, M.A. in History Didactics (University of Athens). PhD in History and Adult Education (University of Peloponnese). Worked as a history and language teacher in Secondary Education, as a school consultant and teacher trainer and as a lecturer in Hellenic Open University (Public History). Expert in History Curricula, history textbooks / educational material. Fields of interest: educational research (History Didactics, Public and Oral History, Civic Education, Holocaust Education, History Curricula, teachers’ attitudes etc.). Ex-EUROCLIO Association president (2010–2012), co-founder and president of the Association for History Education in Greece (AHEG).
