My name is Teodora Asparuhova from Sofia, Bulgaria. I have five years’ experience as a lower secondary history teacher, viewing education as a vocation. Teaching history helps me connect past and present and foster critical thinking. I hold a BA in Russian Philology and two MAs in History, including Antiquity and the Middle Ages, qualifying me as a medieval history specialist. I also work on school history projects that build students’ reading and functional literacy. I enjoy traveling, reading, and exploring new cultures.
