Nenad Šebek, member of Friends of JHP 2.0, is international consultant for media and civil society. Previously, Director of the Belgrade office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation and before that, Spokesperson for the Regional Cooperation Council.
Served as Executive Director of the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe 2002–2014. Prior to that, a journalist for 26 years, 16 of them for the BBC World Service including the posts of Balkans and Moscow Correspondent. Taught journalism, and media & human rights at the postgraduate course in Human rights at Vienna University’s Faculty of Law and at the ACT in Thessaloniki.
