In the continuation of our conversations with youth within the Joint History Project, we dedicate the second lesson to social movements and the struggle for equality. The rights we take for granted today – from education to the right to bodily autonomy – are the result of long-standing historical struggles fought on multiple fronts. In this video, high school students analyze historical sources, proclamations, and surveys from the region, seeking an answer to a crucial question: Is a formal right the same as an actual opportunity in society? Join our students in critically reflecting on the past, solidarity, and our collective obligation to defend the achieved levels of human rights and equality.
