Kristina Vujanović

Kristina Vujanović is an independent researcher focusing on provenance verification, object histories, and art-market analysis across the Balkans and the Mediterranean. Her work spans Ottoman, Byzantine, Orthodox, and Islamic material culture, with emphasis on documentation, stylistic study, and cross-border object movement. She conducts comparative research on artefacts in private and regional collections and produces analytical briefs related to legal status and historical context. Her current focus includes cultural-property protection frameworks and issues of illicit traffic. She works in English, Serbian, Romanian, and Spanish and is preparing to begin specialised training in cultural-heritage protection at the University of Torino.
