Ditmir Bushati, chair of the Friends of JHP 2.0 and member of the Scientific Committee, has served as Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs (2013– 2019). He was a Member of Parliament (2009–2021), chair of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration (2011–2013), and led Albania’s OSCE delegation (2019–2021). He served as Special Representative for the South Caucasus (2020–2021) and as OSCE Chairperson’s Special Envoy (2020). Bushati headed OSCE/ODIHR missions in Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Moldova, and Belarus. He also advised Jordan’s authorities on political reform as part of a U.S. NDI group (2021–2022) and was a member of the EU–Albania Joint Parliamentary Committee.
