Amir Duranović
Amir Duranović, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, where he completed all levels of his academic education. His research focuses on the modern history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia, as well as historiography, diplomacy, and environmental history. He is the author of three books and numerous scholarly publications. Duranović has been a visiting researcher and lecturer at universities in Berlin, Paris, Luxembourg, and Lanzhou. Since 2016, he has taught in Northwestern University’s Global Learning program and currently serves as Vice Dean at the Faculty of Philosophy.
