Alexandra Androusou is a researcher at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focusing on teaching practices, teacher training, and intercultural education. She has organized numerous training programs across diverse educational settings and has contributed to developing educational materials for both children and teachers. Since 1997, she has served on the five-member Scientific Committee of the Muslim Education Program. Since 2016, she has been the vice-chair of the Scientific Committee for Supporting the Education of Refugee Children. Since 2015, she has led an educational intervention for refugee children at the Eleonas Refugee Camp in Athens.
