Adnan Prekić is a Montenegrin historian and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro. He specializes in 20thcentury history and the general history of Europe from the 15th to 19th centuries. His research focuses on state–religious community relations, cultural heritage, and the historical geography of Montenegro. He has served on the National Commission for UNESCO of Montenegro and is a member of both the History and Education Committees of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. He is a co-founder of the Center for Geopolitics and editor-in-chief of the Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences.
