It is with great sadness that we received the news of the passing of our longtime associate and friend, Rigas Tzelepoglou, a Board member of the Centre for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe (CDRSEE), the organization from which the Joint History Project (JHP) originated.

Rigas was a committed and dedicated member of CDRSEE, and through his work and responsibility he made an important contribution to the development and functioning of the organization. He was in charge of finances, a role he approached with great care, professionalism, and dedication, always striving to contribute to the shared mission through his knowledge and work.

His commitment to the values of dialogue, cooperation, and regional connection left a mark on the many people who had the opportunity to work with him. For all of us who are part of the JHP and the broader network that CDRSEE has built, his passing is a great loss.

Rest in peace, dear Rigas.

Our sincere condolences go to his family, friends, and all colleagues who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
