In this episode of the series “ViewPoint: Forgiveness (Is)Not Weakness”, young people from across the region re-examine one of the most difficult lessons they have inherited – the belief that “if we forgive, it will all happen again.”
Where does healthy caution end, and where does the fear that prevents us from moving past the past begin? Participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Serbia share their reflections on whether forgiveness is truly a sign of weakness or the only way to break the cycle of violence. Through their perspectives and observations, they question whether constantly revisiting old wounds truly protects us—or if it actually prepares us for new conflicts.
