The Peace Prize, awarded by the European Centre of Peace Science (CESPIC) with the support of the “Our Lady of Good Counsel” Foundation and in cooperation with the Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT/CCI), has been awarded this year to the Joint History Workbooks Project for its long-standing educational role in promoting mutual understanding and the reconciliation process.

It is an exceptional honor and a great pleasure for us to receive this award, as a sign of appreciation and recognition of our decades-long work and dedication.

This prize is being awarded for the first time in Albania by the European Centre of Peace Science (CESPIC) together with the aforementioned partners. The formal award ceremony will take place on March 11 at the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” (UniZKM) in Tirana, featuring speeches by JHP Director Zvezdana Kovač and Prof. Christina Koulouri, the Project’s Main Coordinator and General Editor of the Joint History Workbooks.

Recognizing those who work daily to connect communities represents the very core of the Joint History Project’s values, while such events strongly contribute to strengthening a culture of dialogue, trust, and understanding.

More information about the event is available on the UniZKM university website.
